Where the Marc Jacobs bag offer stands in 2026

The styles on the US site sort into named families, not one wall of leather. The navigation comes to 312 styles in all across The Tote Bag, The Snapshot, The Scene, Crossbody Bags, Mini Bags, Shoulder Bags and Totes. The brand changed hands on 1 September 2026, when WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group purchased the marc jacobs crossbody bag brand from LVMH, with Marc Jacobs carrying on as Founder and Creative Director. Every price on the site carries the “SALE PRICE,” label, full-price stock included, so treat a bag as truly reduced only when a “REGULAR PRICE” shows beside it. Each figure here is US dollars on marcjacobs.com in the US as of September 2026, and prices change by country and change without notice. A lot of buyers search “marc jacob,” while the label is Marc Jacobs, plural.

The Tote Bag

The line launched in 2019, drawn from archival designs, and as the flagship family it now counts 105 styles. The positioning is plain from the framing line the brand attributes to Jacobs, “No more Birkins, only Tote Bags”. Top handles, rounded and the name in oversized block letters sit on a wide rectangle, debossed on leather and closed by a top zip. One interior zip pocket and two slip pockets are fitted inside The Canvas Medium, which measures 13in by 6in by 11in in cotton canvas. Crossbody, Small and Medium include a removable adjustable webbing strap, while the Canvas Large does not, which is where straps trip people up. Canvas runs about $150, $178, $198 and $228 by size, jacquard about $325 and $350, and full-grain leather about $398, $498 and $598. Because it is the cheapest route to a recognizable marc jacobs handbag, students and commuters arrive here first.

The Snapshot

This is the bag most people picture when they hear the name, and the family runs to thirty styles. Modeled on a camera bag, it was conceived in a Parisian studio, the brand says, and debuted on the runway. Small and boxy at 7in by 2in by 4in, it wears tricolor colorblocking and the signature double-J hardware. It is made in Saffiano leather with a faille lining, closed by a dual top zipper rather than a flap, and the removable webbing strap has a 27in drop. The core band runs about $325 to $328, taking in the Snapshot DTM and the Colorblock Chain Snapshot, while the Vintage Floral version and Snapshot E/W Shoulder Bag sit near $358. Someone carrying a phone, cards and a lipstick who wants the bag noticed will get on with it.

The Scene

With 70 styles, The Scene is the newest family to win its own place in the navigation. What it covers is a group rather than a shape: Small, Medium and Large Shoulder Bags, two Buckets, a Convertible Mini, a Chain Mini and a Wallet on Chain. Materials run to leather, crinkle leather, suede and denim, the widest spread of any line here. Because carry falls on the shoulder, or on a slim metal chain for the chain versions, these are not top-handle bags. Prices open near $198 for the Scene Convertible Mini Bag and $228 for the Scene Wallet on Chain. Past the Scene Convertible Mini Bag and the Scene Wallet on Chain, prices reach $298 for the Scene Small Shoulder Bag and $358 for the Scene Small Bucket, with a ceiling near $698 for the Scene Large Shoulder Bag. The buyer who wants something softer and far less logo-forward than the Tote lands here.

The Sack Bag

On the 2022 runway, The Sack Bag debuted as what the brand calls a slouchy throw-over-your-shoulder silhouette in premium leather. It slumps against the body rather than holding a rectangle. The Belted Sack Bag serves as the reference version in full-grain leather, with a magnetic closure, an adjustable belted shoulder strap, an internal zip pocket, cotton twill lining and a 12in handle drop. From The Micro Crossbody Sack Bag near $198, the run climbs past the Small Belted Sack Bag around $298 and reaches $498. Seasonal fabrications throw in bow-detailed denim and nylon at roughly $258 and $358, plus leopard nylon and canvas cargo versions near $398. A magnet opens quicker than a zip but is less secure, better for people who hate hardware fuss than for crowded transit.

The Dual Bag

The thinnest current shelf presence here goes to The Dual Bag, which also has the most public origin story. The brand says it first drew attention at the 2024 Met Gala after-party, when Dua Lipa paired it with her look, after debuting on the Fall ’23 runway. It fronted the Spring 2025 campaign with Emily Ratajkowski, then returned in Summer 2025 led by Doja Cat. Rather than the main assortment, the MARCDOWN sale section is mainly where it turns up as of 29 September 2026. A rare case here: The Large Dual Bag was listed around $297 against a regular price of about $495, with both prices on display. The shopper it suits took to the campaign imagery and will buy from what remains rather than a full color run.

The structured leather totes: Cristina, Dakota, Babe and Pop J Marc

The site holds a Totes category of 47 structured styles and a Shoulder Bags category of 80 apart from The Tote Bag. These are the leather bags that hold their shape rather than the soft canvas carryalls. Around $658, The Grommet Charm Cristina Tote is filed under Shoulder Bags because it gets carried that way, while The Cristina Tote sits near $398. The top-priced bag in the Totes category is The Dakota Tote at about $798. Babe stretches across three points, from the Babe Mini Vanity Bag near $178 through the Babe Mini Top Handle at roughly $298 to the Babe City Tote around $598. The Pop J Marc Work Tote sits at about $398, the Small Work Tote near $298, and these are the marc jacobs bags for a working week.

Heaven by Marc Jacobs

Ava Nirui art-directed Heaven from the start, the youth-facing sub-label launched in September 2020. In the brand’s words, it is a gateway into the sprawling and enigmatic omniverse of Marc Jacobs subversion. With 153 products in the line, tees run from around $65, and bags sit between roughly $150 and $250. Outside the canvas Tote, that is the cheapest way into a marc jacobs bag. Among current stock is a David Rappeneau Shoulder Bag near $175, an artist name carried on the product itself. Nirui’s exit was reported in January 2026 with no successor named, so Heaven’s creative direction now is not brand-confirmed.

All the lines, side by side

In the table, each current family sits against its shape, its materials and the US price band shown on 29 September 2026. The bands cover ranges across sizes and fabrications, not one price for one bag. At the bottom sit canvas and Heaven, and the top to leather and the largest Scene styles. Size matters less to price than material does, as the same medium Tote shows at about $198 in canvas and $498 in leather. The Dual Bag row records a markdown, not a standing price. Prices here are US dollars on marcjacobs.com; they differ by country and currency and change without notice.

The lines the US site no longer carries, and people keep searching

Search brings up the same four names constantly, and all four end in disappointment on the US site. Neither the J Marc shoulder bag nor the saddle bag is currently sold, so a search returns jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, ready-to-wear and the Pop J Marc Work Tote instead. Only a handful of Canal St apparel items come back from a search for The St. Marc, which is not in the current assortment either. No duffle bag shows in the results for that term, so The Duffle is likewise absent. A Monogram tote completes the four, because the current canvas totes are plain cotton canvas with block-letter branding. Archive names, not current marc jacobs bag lines, is what all four are, so treat sellers offering them as new stock with suspicion. Proof of purchase in hand, the one-year manufacturing-defect warranty applies only to items bought from an authorized vendor.
